DISTINGUISHING FEATURES: His wings probably. He may be like God, but his wings are a dark brown color, and match that of a hawk's.
POWERS: He can fly! He also reads minds. The only mind he can't read is his brother's, and vice versa.

FEARS: Being in charge, clipping his wings, turning evil, not being good enough, failing everyone, seeing the Earth destroyed, having his angels turn on him.
LIKES: Flying, golf, the rain, punk music, love, having free will, having emotions, having the chance to just live.
DISLIKES: Summer, being in Heaven doing nothing, the heat, metal music, goth looks (wth he says!), someone touching his hair, the fact that he's so afraid of failing, never finding someone to be with.
STRENGTHS: Courageous, intelligent, fearless in battle, a pretty decent leader, his emotions, his willingness to help.
WEAKNESSES: He's too kind sometimes. He's also afraid that he's not a good enough leader. He is an emotional train wreck at times, he's hard to listen to, he can be difficult to understand.
DEEPEST SECRET: He has temptations to be evil, and he feels like giving in sometimes. He feels like those feelings are making him a bad leader and he'll let down his angels. He also still loves his older brother and wants things to just go back to the way they were, when the responsibility didn't fall all on his shoulders.
PERSONALITY: A laid back type of guy. He's not ready to assume the responsibility thrust upon him, and finds it hard to lead his faction of angels. He's a nice guy, trying to help people and be a good leader. He can be easy to make angry though, which is his work sin. He has thoughts in his mind that he should just join Lucius one day, and that he should give in to temptation and sins. Those fears make him believe he's not the leader that heaven needs. He's afraid that his fear will overcome him some day, and that he will fall. He knows that Lucius is powerful, and the fact that his brother can indulge in all of his feelings, wants, wishes and desires, makes him more powerful than himself. More than anything, James is trying to prove to everyone, including himself, that he's worthy of leading Heaven. He knows that everyone makes mistakes, and he's not exempt from that. To live is to err.

HISTORY: His date of birth is unknown, as is his assent to the throne. His brother killed their parents and became the devil basically, while James stayed in heaven to become the next Archangel. He's been battling his brother Lucius for like, a million years now. He has spent most of his life trying not to give into his greatest sins, fear, pride, and lust. His most repulsive sin is his fear. He's constantly afraid that he's going to let down the angels, and that the demons will win the war. He wants to live and be himself, but he's on a pedestal now that he never wanted to be on. James started calling himself James in the nineteenth century, trying to keep up with more modern names. He prefers that over Angelus, as his old name reminds him too much of his family, and that fact that he basically has none. While James has always fought against Lucius, he does still love his brother. He hates him for killing their parents in one of the Great Wars, and knows that Lucius will never love him, but James still wants the war to end. Love is in his bones and he can't help but feel love and pity for his brother.
