He absolutely adores his little family, and will do anything for them if it makes them happy. HISTORY: Damon is the youngest son of the Mercier family, although he is not even a Mercier technically - he's the product of an affair between his mother and an unknown man. This became obvious when as a child they would find a baby tiger instead of a baby - his father was a shifter, and so his family became immersed with the supernatural by this simple mistake, making it easier for their parents to accept the rest later.
Despite the obvious, he was raised as though he were Peter's son, and grew up the cherished baby of the family. When he was about seventeen, he was attacked by his older brother Lewis during a heat, and ended up losing the child that he was carrying from the attack. He met Mika soon after, and they slowly grew closer, eventually becoming mates.
